CMAT Syllabus 2019: CMAT 2019 syllabus and pattern released officially by NTA with exam date. Although, there is a change in the CMAT exam governing body not much of a change is expected with respect to the pattern and syllabus of the exam. NTA is the autonomous testing body which will help in conducting the exam for higher education.
The maximum marks for the exam would be 400 marks which includes +4 marks for every correct answer and negative 1 mark for every answer which is wrong. Thus there are 25 questions for each section (100 marks each).

CMAT 2019 syllabus has 4 sections of Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Language Comprehension with 100 objective based questions for the maximum of 400 marks.
Thus all these tests and topics in CMAT 2019 are designed to test the capabilities required for MBA. These questions will test all these aspects. Anyone who needs to score high or get admission to a good college need to have a thorough understanding of the topics. One needs to have their basics clear and should practice older sample papers to get a sense of questions an exam conditions.

CMAT 2019 Exam Pattern
CMAT exam pattern includes following details:
- Date of the exam is 27th January 2019 across different centers across India
- The exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)
- There will be a total of 100 questions divided across four sections.
- Duration of the exam is 3 hrs which will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
- All the questions would be objective with four choices to answer every question.
- The test will be conducted online at the designated centers having the basic hardware and necessary facilities available for the conduct.

This is the second section containing 25 questions and a total of 100 marks. It contains various sub-topics such as Geometry, Profit and loss, Number system, Allegation-mixtures, Simple and compound interest, Equations, Permutation and combination, Equations, Ratio, Time speed, Algebra, derivatives etc.

This is the 3rd topic present in the syllabus. This section also contains 25 questions each of 4 marks. The syllabus of the section includes topics related to history, geography, Literature, current affairs, Personalities, Culture, a little bit about the finance and economics etc. The general knowledge covers the general awareness about both India as well as around the world.
It also include Business and Economics such as fiscal and monetary policies, CRR, Repo rate, Devaluation of rupee etc.
Preparing for general awareness is an ongoing process, thus it is important to read as much as possible. One should read newspapers and financial magazines to have knowledge of things happening around.
The section also involves constitutional knowledge, currency and the capitals of the countries, international organizations. You might also find questions related to Photos and emblem identification of various famous personalities and big companies around the world.

This section include questions to test the analytical capability and skills of the person. There are 25 questions under this as well which amounts to a total of 100 marks. The various sub-topics under this are analytical reasoning, Inferences, Visual reasoning, Statement analysis, Analogy test, direction and distance, cause and effect and assumptions.
