#5. Preparing for both class XII and JEE Main Exam

Many of the students appear for the class XII and JEE Main exam both at the same time. Both the exam holds importance and while preparing for one exam one should ignore the other. For some colleges Class XII results have an equal importance. Also some colleges give admissions on the basis of class XII results. Students cannot lose focus either of the important exam.

Therefore, while preparing students should shortlist the topics that are common for class XII syllabus as well as for the JEE Main exam. One should first thoroughly prepare for those topics.

#6. Finish existing topics and then move ahead

While preparing for the JEE Main exam, it is important that the candidate picks the basic topics first and becomes thorough with those topics before moving ahead with other topics. This type of preparation will help in the long run. As in the long run it will boast confidence in the candidate.

#7. Develop Clarity of Concepts

Rather than solving too many questions, one should spend time in learning the concepts of all the topics. If one is thorough with the concepts of each topic, then can solve a lot many different questions in the exam. Candidates should learn the application of these concepts and try to do different varieties of their application.

This will help them develop their mind and will help in solving a lot many newer type of questions.

#8. Prepare short notes and flash cards

Making short notes and flashcards is one of the key methodology for preparing for the JEE Main exam. Students can note down through these important points, basics and formulas separately or use a flash card for them.

During the last stages of the preparation one the students are left with only one month’s time, then students cannot go through the complete course material. At this time the flash cards or the summary of the key points is really helpful, one can simply go through these major points before the exam.

#9. Practice JEE Main exam sample papers and question papers

One of the crucial part of preparing for the JEE Main exam is solving as many papers as one can. Solving practice papers helps to analyze the level of the preparation of the students. The students will be able to check whether they are able to solve the question in the time frame or not. This will also give them an idea about the questions that are talking more time for them.

Solving question papers will also help them see which questions are tough for them and are taking more time and which are moderate difficult or easy for them. Based on this, students can either do more practice on the difficult questions or could formulate a strategy that involves doing easier and moderately difficult questions and leaving the extremely difficult questions. After all it is about scoring highest in the stipulated time interval.

#10. Take JEE Main Online Test Series

JEE Main online test series could massively help students to easily crack the exam. Students should also acclimatize themselves with the actual exam conditions. This is one of the most important part of exam preparation. This involves sitting for the mock exam in similar conditions and during the same tome interval which 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM and 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM.

This will prepare them for the actual; conditions and they will not face and difficulty during the exam day.

#11. Revision

Revision for the exam holds a lot of importance for all the exams, similar is the case with JEE exam. One should not while preparing for the exams the formulas or topics that are difficult for them to retain and should take a revision of these topics before the exam day.

This will help them recall the things at the time of exam.
